Darras Hall Estates Committee

Business relating to the estate is primarily carried out by the main committee overseeing a number of sub-committees.

The Sub-Committees are:

Plans Sub-Committee

The busiest of the committees. This group meets monthly to review all submitted plans and requests to ensure they conform to the rules laid down by the estate. Site visits may be organised for more complicated issues to ensure agreement can be reached.

Land & Property Sub-Committee

Darras Hall Estate Trust owns land within the boundaries of the estate, notably the grasslands nature reserve, the Bridlepath and is the leaseholder on the Broadway shopping centre and neighbouring garage.

Highways & Environmental Sub-Committee

A recent addition to the structure has been the introduction of a Highways and Envionmental Sub-Committee, its brief to monitor and report deterioration in the fabric of the estate, such as roads or pollution. The committee liaises with the Parish, Borough and County Councils to bring to their attention issues of concern to residents.
